<b>Job Summary / Overview</b><br><br> This position reports directly to and is accountable to the Maintenance and Reliability Manager. The Planning Manager will direct and manage the Planning Group comprised of 7 directs. This position will set the direction and objectives of the Planning Team and have responsibility for managing the efforts of and developing the team members. The position will lead development and maintenance of Maximo and other data systems to insure optimal utilization and effective work execution.<br><br> <b>Essential Job Functions</b><br><br> Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions and competencies.<br><br><ul><li>Responsible for development, implementation, and execution of maintenance work management system (WMS) process in conjunction with Maintenance Manager.</li><li>Develop, implement, track, trend, and communicate best in class maintenance work management KPIs including some of the following:<ul><li>% WORs processed in < 5 days - Target 80%</li><li>% Planned Work - Target 85-90%</li><li>% WOs in planning < 5 days - Target 80%</li><li>% WOs with job plans - Target >95%</li><li>% WOs with labor estimates within 10% of actual labor - Target 90%</li><li>% WOs complete by due date - Target 95%</li><li>% Rework - Target < 2%</li><li>% WO closure within 3 days of completion - Target >95%</li><li>Planner Productivity - Planned hours per month - Target trend</li><li>Contractor labor hours vs company labor hours - Target trend</li><li>Schedule Attainment = % WOs complete per weekly scheduled WOs</li><li>Labor Utilization = scheduled labor hours<b>/</b>total available labor hours<b> </b></li><li>
WOs Completed by Technician Per Day/Month</li></ul></li></ul> <br><br>  <br><br>  <br><br>  <br><br> <b>Essential Job Functions (Continued)</b><br><br>  <br><br><ul><li>Ensure that maintenance planning and scheduling process for routine preventive maintenance, predictive condition-based maintenance and scheduled turnaround events exceeds customer and stakeholder expectations.</li><li>Oversee and survey preventive maintenance program execution to insure PM effectiveness.</li><li>Ensure that maintenance planning and scheduling process is optimized and least disruptive/intrusive to operations.</li><li>Responsible for mentoring, coaching, and developing the skills and performance of the Planning team, including development plans and performance reviews.</li><li>Responsible for Planning Group budget development, justification, and execution of on time on target on budget performance.</li><li> Responsible for goal setting aligned with peer and plant objectives.</li><li>Working with TAR Manager support a plan with maximum safety, minimal downtime, and cost control.</li><li>Present a professional image at all times to clients and vendors and maintain a positive reputation of the company.</li><li>Follow all relevant company policies and procedures.</li><li>Assists other Departments and other administrative personnel as necessary.</li><li>Perform other tasks as assigned.</li></ul><b>Qualifications</b><br><br> <b>Licenses, Certifications, and/or Registrations</b><br><br>  <br><br><ul><li>Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) certification preferred.</li></ul> <br><br> <b>Education, Experience, and/or Training</b><br><br><ul><li>Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or other technical discipline preferred.</li><li>Minimum fifteen (15) years' experience in a process plant environment, ten (10) of which must be leading a planning and scheduling team.</li></ul><b>Special Requirements</b><br><br> <b>Tools / Equipment</b><br><br><ul><li>Computer</li><li>Copy Machine</li><li>Scanner</li><li>Telephone system</li></ul> <br><br> <b>Software</b><br><br><ul><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook required.</li></ul> <br><br> <b>Physical</b><br><br><ul><li>Ability to lift 20 lbs. occasionally.</li><li>Ability to sit for prolonged amounts of time required.</li><li>Ability to effectively communicate through various means required.</li></ul> <br><br> <b>Environmental </b><br><br><ul><li>Majority of work is performed within an office environment, including office equipment - such as computers, telephones, and copiers.</li><li>Requires field work at times in extreme weather conditions.</li><li>Noise levels are typically moderate but may be high when conducting field activities.</li></ul> <br><br> <b>Work Schedule</b><br><br><ul><li>Regular 40-hour work week, normal duty hours as assigned.</li><li>Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.</li><li>May work longer hours to meet deadlines as necessary and to support facilities emergencies.</li></ul> <br><br> <b>Travel</b><br><br><ul><li>Less than 10% of the time.</li></ul><br /><br />With over 90 years' combined experience, NES Fircroft (NES) is proud to be the world's leading engineering staffing provider spanning the Oil &amp; Gas, Power &amp; Renewables, Infrastructure, Life Sciences, Mining, Automotive and Chemicals sectors worldwide.With more than 100 offices in 45 countries, we are able to provide our clients with the engineering and technical expertise they need, wherever and whenever it is needed.
