Senior Civil/Structural Designer

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood (trading locally as WOOD KSS JSC) is currently looking for a Senior Civil/Structural Designer to join our team in Atyrau. We are looking for candidates with the drive and commitment to make a genuine difference to our performance to ensure that the company continues to differentiate itself from competitors by delivering quality projects to our client's requirements. <br><br>Under direct supervision, performs layout and design work from the basic data supplied. Applies standard level techniques in computer design and applications. <br><br>Responsibilities: <br><ul><li> Follows company procedures and established standards to prepare engineering deliverables from rough sketches </li><li> Utilizes skills in developing graphics utilizing computer design </li><li> Utilizes theoretical and practical engineering knowledge </li></ul> <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br><ul><li> A minimum of 5-7 years related experience and/or an undergraduate degree with 3 years related experience preferred </li><li> AutoCAD, Microstation </li><li> Reinforced Concrete GA's and RC Detailing </li><li> Structural Steelwork GA's and Detailing </li><li> Knowledge of Roads, Paving and Undergrounds preferable. </li><li> Communication Skills </li><li> English level Intermediate </li></ul> <br><br><b> Company Overview </b><br><br>Wood is a global leader in engineering and consultancy across energy and the built environment, helping to unlock solutions to some of the world's most critical challenges.
