<p><strong><u>DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES  </u></strong></p>

<ul>
<li>Proactively supports engineering projects; on time, on budget with respect to input specification and planning.</li>
<li>Proactively supports manufacturing deliverables and efficiencies in alignment with service quality and service delivery QA/QC requirements.</li>
<li>Proactively supports facility development, matenance and sustainability required to efficiently execute deliverables.</li>
<li>Proactively supports technology transfer and associated management of change (MoC) projects.</li>
<li>Proactively supports design for manufacture via collaboration with manufacturing and supply chain functions, ensuring product quality and cost targets are met.</li>
<li>Prepares new and existing product design packages, specifications and manufacturing work instructions in alignment with process, ensuring standards and requirements are met, maintained and sustained.</li>
<li>Attends cross functional and customer design reviews for new and existing products.</li>
<li>Produces, develops, maintains, sustains standardized engineering data and documentation.</li>
<li>Plans, prepares and executes product test protocols and procedures.</li>
<li>Produces, develops, maintains and sustains high quality technical documentation to support other functions engagement and quality of services on associated products.</li>
<li>Prepares detailed technical reports as necessary to support internal and external customer communications and understanding of events.</li>
<li>Dispositions NCR's, troubleshoots, supports CPAR's and associated root cause analysis.</li>
<li>Provides manual assistance in the process of assembly & testing of new and existing products.</li>
<li>Proactively identifies any opportunities for improvement (OFI) regarding design, planning, manufacturing and associated processes.</li>
<li>Proactively trains, develops and supports global manufacturing teams via the delivery of effective training and competency content associated with new products.</li>
<li>Ensures product data, documentation and associated toolboxes are clean, standardized and ready to support efficient supply chain, manufacturing and field operations.</li>
<li>Proactively supports vendor development and associated vendor management challenges.</li>
<li>Proavtively mitigates component obsolescence risk via close collaboration with vendor network, supply chain, manufacturing and engineer functions.</li>

<p><strong><u>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE</u></strong></p>

<li>5+ years relevant industry experience.</li>
<li>Experience in downhole product design, development, sustaining and manufacture.</li>
<li>Working knowledge of electronics and electrical design practices, standards and specifications.</li>
<li>Experience in analogue, digital and mixed signal circuit design.</li>
<li>Experience in microcontrollers.</li>
<li>Experience in surface mount technology and through hole printed circuit board design and construction.</li>
<li>Experience in high level programming language.</li>
<li>Experience in wiring loom design, construction and repair.</li>
<li>Experience with inspection to IPC-A-610 (Class 3) for acceptability of electronics.</li>
<li>Awareness of Restriction of Hazardous Substances compliance and high temperature solder techniques.</li>
<li>A bias for process discipline and an established track record of executing to plan and achieving results.</li>
<li>Experience in fault finding.</li>
<li>Experience in technology transfer into manufacturing services and the development of personnel from other functions to competently and sustainably control.</li>
<li>Able and willing to push through constraints in an engaging and collaborative manner.</li>
