Senior Project Engineer

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood is currently recruiting for a Senior Project Engineer for our Melbourne office on a permanent basis. <br><br><b> Responsibilities </b> <br><ul><li> Develop and/or update project execution plan </li><li> Develop scope of work for approval </li><li> Project plan, resources levelling and recommended schedule contingency and basis </li><li> Ensure the correct procedures and specifications are in place for the project or programme of projects </li><li> Co-ordinate with Engineering contractor to conduct wellsite audits, deliver multiple modification projects through detailed design, procurement, construction, handover and close out </li><li> Co-ordinate with Construction and overhaul contractor to implement the solutions and meeting the target KPI's of assigned tasks </li><li> Input to cost and scheduling forecasting </li><li> Report on any deviation from the project baseline schedules to relevant stakeholders </li></ul> <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br><ul><li> Interface with client and other stakeholders to ensure that all client requirements are considered when scoping project on behalf of client </li><li> Successful candidate must be able to scope works, administer/control construction works and lead/champion project HSE requirements </li><li> Experience in the management of multi-disciplined oil and gas upstream projects or other relevant industries </li><li> Practiced in project control mechanisms and with commercial and technical risk assessments; </li><li> Ability to work autonomously and deliver to deadlines </li><li> Effective communication and relationship-building skills </li><li> Sound understanding of Planning and Cost Control (with the support of a Project Controls team) </li><li> Bachelor of Engineering Degree, ideally Mechanical Engineering </li></ul><br> Candidates must have full work rights in Australia to be considered for this role. <br><br>If you're an experienced Senior Project Engineer, ready for your next project, then we are keen to hear from you today. <br><br>Apply now and take the next step in your career with this exciting opportunity! <br><br><b> Company Overview </b><br><br>Wood is a global leader in engineering and consultancy across energy and the built environment, helping to unlock solutions to some of the world's most critical challenges.
