Project Manager

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood Mining and Minerals is looking for a Project Manager that can create delivery excellence across assigned project, provide certainty and confidence to the client, and robust control of project scope, schedule, cost and risk. Specifies and coordinates the implementation of a medium gold sized project. <br><br> This includes responsibility for safe delivery, ensuring that quality, schedule, and cost/budget targets. <br><br> Also responsible for delivery of project to agreed specifications and ensuring appropriate reporting and governance is in place. <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br><ul><li> University degree in relevant discipline or equivalent combination of qualifications and experience. Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification is preferred </li><li> Project Manager / Project Director with experience in Mining projects, preferably in South America Andes region (Chile, Peru, Colombia, Ecuador, Argentina) </li><li> Effective business direction of major/ complex EPC/EPCM projects of above US$ 300 mn Capex </li><li> Experience in ore mineral processing plants for Gold, and some experience in Copper, Nickel, Silver or Zinc. </li><li> More than 15 years of pertinent experience including more than 5 years successfully managing major/complex international or remote location projects, working for global engineering companies or mining operators. </li><li> Good HSSE records in projects. </li><li> Experience by leading a large diverse project team including specialists from outside the company and from other countries. </li><li> Oriented to business results and fulfilling client expectations. </li><li> High level of English language. Understanding of Spanish is desirable.
