Engineering Manager

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood Mining and Minerals is looking for an Engineering Manager to take responsibilities for managing the area and disciplines resources to ensure the overall project needs and priorities are met in a balanced fashion, and that design criteria and engineering work practices are carried out consistently and with high degree of quality across the project. In supervising all engineering activities the Engineering Manager will provide leadership through supervision, mentoring, training and motivation. Other main objectives are proper planning, supervision and the execution of the engineering activities to ensure that engineering deliverables are provided in a timely fashion to support the scheduled materials management and construction activities. Reporting to the Project Manager, the Engineering Manager will coordinate all technical discipline leads. <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br><ul><li> University degree in relevant discipline </li><li> Engineering Manager with experience in Mining projects, preferably in South America Andes region (Chile, Peru, Colombia, Ecuador, Argentina) </li><li> Sound recent experience coordinating a major/ complex EPC/EPCM project of above US$ 300 mn Capex </li><li> Experience in ore mineral processing plants for Gold, and some experience in Copper, Nickel, Silver or Zinc. </li><li> More than 15 years of pertinent experience including more than 5 years successfully coordinating and integrating a major/complex international or remote location projects, working for renown global engineering companies. </li><li> Experience by leading a large diverse engineering team including specialists from outside the company and from other countries. </li><li> Oriented to business results and fulfilling client expectations regarding quality, schedule and costs. </li><li> Good level of English language. Spanish is desirable.
