Cementing Field Specialist/Supervisor

Job Summary:<br> <br> The Cementing Supervisor is responsible for supervising, organizing, overseeing, and performing all types of cementing jobs. A key aspect of this position is the expectation for delivery of services with flawless quality and no HSE incidents. Successful Cementing supervisor are adaptable, show initiative, and have good written and verbal communication skills. With good leadership abilities and a sense of responsibility they work well in teams. <br> <br> Job Description:<br> <ul> <li> Performs audits, inspections, and self-assessments to ensure compliance with standards.</li> <li> Performs risk analysis before each job or task and identifies and addresses potential safety hazards. Corrects and reports hazards immediately. Recognizes risks associated with the operation, and reduces these risks to as low a level as possible.</li> <li> Identifies any potential unplanned changes to the job program at the well site, and initiates management of change procedures.</li> <li> Executes successful jobs as per customer approved design and is accountable for the complete service delivery.</li> <li> Executes critical and new technology jobs in addition to the standard job.</li> <li> Leads service quality meetings with customers and works on action plans to improve performance.</li> <li> Designs and evaluates technically advanced jobs and assists other peer reviews.</li> <li> Develops customer contacts and promotes products and services</li> <li> Ensures employees and contractors at the work site are in compliance with all relevant standards.</li> <li> Ensures assigned personnel are competent to drive and operate assigned equipment.</li> <li> Assists engineers in technical programs and bids.</li> <li> Prepares job descriptions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for assigned people.</li> <li> Complies with all HS&E and Quality and IT standards and policies and participates in HS&E and Quality initiatives and programs.</li> <li> Wears Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required and keeps required HS&E and SQ certifications up-to-date.</li> <li> Coach and mentor less experienced employees, acting as role model for all field operations people.</li> </ul> <br> Qualification & Behaviour:<br> <ul> <li> Bachelor's or diploma degree in chemical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or similar engineering disciplines with demonstrated capability with 3 years of cementing relevant experience.</li> <li> Excellent communication, verbal and written skills </li> <li> Immediate availability is an advantage </li> <li> Experience in running Schlumberger Cementing Unit and/or other Pressure Equipment </li> <li> Excellent and flawless execution of cementing program without any HSE/SQ issue in LAND operation </li> <li> Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in Indonesia, without sponsorship </li> </ul> <br><br>Schlumberger is an equal employment opportunity employer.
