Delivery Manager

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood is currently recruiting for a Delivery Manager to join our Operations team based in Perth. This is a long-term opportunity reporting to the Contract Manager, responsible for the delivery of a portfolio of projects with a key client. <br><br>Wood delivers brownfields engineering, procurement, construction, optimisation, and technical services to the oil and gas sector and enjoys long-term partnerships with some of the region's most prominent producers, actively supporting operations in Western Australia, the Northern Territory, Kazakhstan, and Sakhalin. <br><br>Working in a key engineering, procurement and construction management contract, the focus of your role will be to create delivery excellence across the assigned project portfolio, provide certainty and confidence to the client / project sponsor, and maintain robust control of project scope, schedule, cost and risk. <br><br>In this highly visible role, you will be responsible for: <br><ul><li> Specifying and coordinating the implementation and completion of moderate sized projects, a portfolio of small projects and / or major components of large projects </li><li> Safe delivery, ensuring quality, schedule and cost targets are met and managing associated risk mitigation </li><li> Delivery of project to agreed specifications, managing change and customer relationships, and ensuring appropriate reporting and governance is adhered to and controlled </li></ul><br> At Wood you will join an inclusive and diverse global community of inquisitive minds and recognised industry innovators, partnering to create new possibilities. <br><br>Join us in the heart of Perth's CBD at Dexus Place - 240 St Georges Terrace, free 24/7 access to an exclusive onsite gym, superb end of trip facilities, coffee machines serving on demand and plenty of spaces to get creative. In addition, you will have access to remote and flexible working options, purchased annual leave and employee discount programs. <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br>You <b> will be an Australian citizen or hold Permanent Residency (PR) and able to work lawfully in Australia. </b> <br><br>Ideally you will be suitably qualified in Engineering from a recognised institution and have a 15+ years of proven experience in the oil and gas brownfields EPC(M) sector in Australia, including 3+ years of relevant experience in a similar Delivery Manager role. It is advantageous if you are a Project Management Professional (PMP), Associate in Project Management (APM) or hold an equivalent certification. <br><br>In addition, you will have: <br><ul><li> Significant experience in multiple project delivery management </li><li> Excellent communication skills with proven experience in client facing roles </li><li> Engineering project management experience with extensive knowledge Australian and International applicable codes and standards </li><li> Proven experience managing risk during the design process consistent with technical and commercial requirements </li><li> Well developed computer skills and knowledge of databases, spreadsheets and engineering programs </li><li> A focus on delivering solutions and adept at managing a dynamic environment with varying tasks and changing and competing priorities </li></ul><br><b> What will set you apart will be your proven ability to manage client relationships coupled with your relevant experience building and leading multi-disciplined technical teams. </b><br><br>It takes a diverse and inclusive community of inquisitive minds to unlock tomorrow's solutions to the world's most critical challenges.
