Baker Hughes offers its customers technology and solutions that minimize the risk of additional costs during the construction of wells worldwide.<br><br><b>Partner with the best</b><br><br>You'll conduct multisource G&G data analysis, reservoir characterization, well correlation, and deposition environment reconstruction on clastic, carbonate, and unconventional reservoirs. You'll build state-of-art 3D geological (static) models, both of field scale to support FDPs, sector models for workovers, EOR, ICDs/HF planning. You will also provide well operations support through planning, wellbore placement, monitoring and geo-steering.<br><br>As a Senior Geologist, you will be responsible for:<br><ul><li>Accomplishing various types of studies (quick look analysis, feasibility studies, field development projects, contributes to 3D geomechanical modeling).</li><li>Performing well correlation of clastic and carbonate reservoirs, a good understanding of wireline logs physicals and electrifies analysis principles.</li><li>Conducting reservoir characterization and deposition environment reconstruction. Creation of detailed 3D structure frameworks containing multiple faults, pinching out lenses, multiple layers.</li><li>Integrating various trends (2D/3D seismic attributes, depositional trends, regional, field analog data) to perform detailed 3D facies models.</li><li>Creating of water saturation model, complex capillary height functions creation; co-kriging techniques, 1D trends, complex functions in software calculator, etc.</li><li>Creating complex workflows and performing the analysis using multiple 3D geological models realizations. 3D natural fracture modeling using DFN, CFN techniques.</li></ul><br><br><b>Fuel your passion</b><br><br>To be successful in this role you will:<br><ul><li>Have an appropriate grade in geology/geoscience disciplines and greater than 12 yrs of industry experience in 3D geological modeling.</li><li>Have skills in the volumetric calculation of hydrocarbons in place (STOIIP, GIIP). Knowledge of Russian reserves classification. Understanding of Western classifications.</li><li>Have working experience in multiple petroleum basins/provinces in RCIS and understand their geological settings and reservoir complexities. Worldwide experience is welcome.</li><li>Demonstrate skills in Petrel and/or Irap RMS software, have the ability for quick learning of other software packages.</li><li>Have an understanding and practical experience in Uncertainty and Sensitivity Analysis.</li><li>Have the English language on intermediate level and higher, with the capability to communicate verbally and in writing.</li></ul><br><br><b>Work in a way that works for you</b><br><br>We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
