Specialist, Completion Engineering

<b>Job Purpose</b><br><br>Review, evaluate and provide technical advice on well completion selection design, configuration, equipment and deployment, ensuring all wells are made fit-for-purpose. Responsible for Well Integrity and Quality.<br><br><b>Job Specific Accountabilities (Part 1)</b><ul> <li>Leads the development and maintenance of ADNOC Onshore completion policies and procedures.</li> <li>Ensures well completion is objective driven, safe, trouble-free and economical for the whole well life.</li> <li>Responsible for developing critical completion well analysis compiling findings and recommendations in professional reports to the management; showing status of work progress, budget, technologies... etc. as required.</li> <li>Supports in complex well design and provide proposals to achieve the objectives; also supports in well intervention, appraisal and well testing. </li> <li>Participates in exercise autonomy in conducting major and strategic Completion Studies 'to optimize the field development plan. In addition, prepares cost estimates and risk assessment that are related to completion design and its application.</li> </ul><br><b>Job Specific Accountabilities (Part 2)</b><ul> <li>Maintains appraised of latest completion industry trends released along with any new technology associated including smart completion. Responsible for matching project tasks with opportunities so that technologies are utilized to the maximum. Also, promotes technology and innovation by writing and presenting papers in technical events.</li> <li>Monitors the actual results and compiling all data for future purposes. In addition, conducts benchmark ADNOC Onshore completion performance versus other organizations mainly in GCC countries.</li> <li>Participates in the HSE Risk Management Process including Risk Register Management. Also, participate in risk assessments including HAZOPS and Operational Risk Assessments.</li> <li>Participates in peer reviews, workshops and technical events. Also, provides and share lesson learned, knowledge and best practices from industry sources internally and with ADNOC, Shareholders, and other OPCOs.</li> </ul><br><b>Minimum Qualification</b><br><br>Bachelor in Petro-technical discipline, advanced degree is preferable. Advanced degree is preferable.<br><br><b>Minimum Experience, Knowledge & Skills</b><br><br>10 years in in Drilling and Completion Engineering (design, analysis and optimization and R&D), along 5 years of completions and workover operations<br><br><b>Professional Certifications</b><br><br>National Alliance Corrosion Engineer (NACE) certification (preferable).As applicable<br><br>Group Company: ADNOC Onshore <br><br>Feb 17, 2022
