<p>JOB PURPOSE:<br />
Manage and Lead the Data Science practice with in ADNOC Distribution, through Applying statistics, machine learning, programming, data modeling, simulation, and advanced mathematics to recognize patterns, identify opportunities, pose business questions, and make valuable discoveries leading to better business decision making<br />

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:<br />

Data Science and Analytics<br />
Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.<br />
Mine and analyze data from company databases to drive optimization and improvement of product development, marketing techniques and business strategies<br />
Data mining using state-of-the-art methods<br />
Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques.<br />
Research and develop statistical learning models for data analysis<br />
Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets.<br />
Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis<br />
Use predictive modelling to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, ad targeting and other business outcomes.<br />
Build algorithms and design experiments to merge, manage, interrogate and extract data to supply tailored reports to colleagues, customers or the wider organisation<br />
Use machine learning tools and statistical techniques to produce solutions to problems<br />

Test data mining models to select the most appropriate ones for use on a project<br />
Develop company A/B testing framework and test model quality.<br />
Coordinate with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes.<br />
Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyse model performance and data accuracy.<br />

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE &amp; SKILLS:<br />
Minimum Qualification<br />
Bachelor&
39;s Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Math or related field<br />
<br />
Minimum Experience &amp; Knowledge &amp; Skills<br />
7+ years&
39; practical experience with SAS, ETL, data processing, database programming and data analytics<br />
Extensive background in data mining and statistical analysis<br />
Relevant experience in O&amp;G Retail is an advantage<br />
Able to understand various data structures and common methods in data transformation<br />
Excellent pattern recognition and predictive modeling skills<br />
Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, Spotfire, SQL, and programming languages (i.e.,Java/Python, SAS)<br />
Comfort working in a dynamic, research-oriented group with several ongoing concurrent projects<br />
Understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms, such as k-NN, Naive Bayes, SVM, Decision Forests, etc.<br />

Professional Certifications<br />
Relevant certifications and trainings in Data Sciences , AI/ML from Oracle , SAS, Microsoft, IBM, Google etc is plus<br />
