Senior I&E Technician (Automation)

<p>Maximize value of company assets by efficiently managing Field Automation Systems, Projects and Field Personnel associated with Automation Systems and data acquisition systems including SCADA.</p>

<p><strong><u>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</u></strong></p>

<p> </p>

<ul>
<li>Involved in the monitoring, maintaining, diagnosing and implementation of automation systems at facilities and well sites including SCADA systems.</li>
<li>Responsible for scheduling and follow-up of the maintenance of automation systems hardware.</li>
<li>Responsible for the implementation of approved changes in programs to ensure consistent and continued operations to reduce shut-downs.</li>
<li>Involved in the installation of new SCADA systems and changes made to previous systems.</li>
<li>Responsible for the diagnoses of automation and production data acquisition problems.</li>
<li>Responsible for the installation and maintenance of rod pump POC units.</li>
<li>Coordinates daily tasks according to priorities and plans, making changes when necessary due to weather, supply, delivery and personnel.</li>
<li>Emphasizing safe use of tools, machinery and equipment while providing oversight to maintain a safe environment according to HSE regulations and procedures</li>
<li>Developing and managing project budgets and quality standards for all sites.</li>
<li>Resolving conflicts or miscommunications quickly and amicably.</li>
<li>Regularly reporting project status and cost expenditures to supervisors, site engineers and other company officials.</li>

<p>Reports directly to the Production Superintendent</p>

<p>Exercises supervision of contract personnel and support staff</p>

<p><strong><u>Accountability</u></strong></p>

<li>Accountable to maintain and optimize automation systems.</li>
<li>Work directly with engineering to make changes to automation and SCADA systems to optimize production and reduce downtime.</li>
<li>Work with Production Accounting to ensure uninterrupted and accurate data acquisition.</li>
<li>Accountable for preventing the failures of Automation equipment.</li>
</ul>
