Senior Rotating Equipment Engineer

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood is currently looking for a <b>Senior Rotating Equipment Engineer</b> to strengthen our team. This is a Home Office position based in Dubai, but it may involve occasional visits to the Client offices and/or site in Iraq. <br><br><b>Job Objective</b> <br><br>Contributing to delivery of Engineering excellence through; <br><ul><li> Executing assigned scopes of work within the stipulated time frame. </li><li> Supporting and reporting to Lead Engineer. </li><li> Providing discipline support to the business </li></ul><br> <b>Responsibilities</b> <br><ul><li> Preparation of Rotating & Packaged Equipment Engineering deliverables (Design Basis, Specification, MDS, Requestion, TBE and calculations) </li><li> Strong technical knowledge in Rotating & Packaged Equipment's (Pumps, Compressors, Blowers, Air Compressor & Dryer packages, CI Packages, Deaeration packages, N2 Packages, Vacuum Pumps, etc.,) </li><li> Ability to check, validate & approve the Vendor and Sub-Contractor documents. </li><li> Review of Inter discipline and Interface documents </li><li> Selection of Rotating Equipment and Packages based on the service requirements. </li><li> Good Awareness and usage of Discipline codes & standards </li><li> Supporting to lead engineer. </li><li> Resolving site issues and providing support to operation team. </li><li> Providing engineering support to site construction and commissioning team. </li><li> Knowledge of Construction & Commissioning activities. </li><li> Knowledge of Inspection & Testing requirements of Rotating & Packaged Equipment's. </li><li> Ensure work is completed on Schedule and within budget </li><li> Assist in the preparation of CTR's and man-hour estimates </li><li> Attend meetings as and when required </li><li> Assist procurement and project engineering personnel in the procurement of equipment and materials </li><li> Liaise with other disciplines on design, construction, fabrication and commissioning issues </li></ul> <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br><b>Minimum Qualifications</b> <br><ul><li> Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering </li><li> Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience in the oil and gas industry </li><li> Experience in brownfield jobs and FEED jobs </li><li> Experience in EPC and PMC jobs </li><li> Experience in Vendor package management </li><li> Occasional travel to Basra as required </li></ul> <br><br><b> Company Overview </b><br><br>Wood is a global leader in engineering and consultancy across energy and the built environment, helping to unlock solutions to some of the world's most critical challenges.
