<p><b>Descripcion general / Responsabilidades </b><br />

En Wood Colombia se requiere Ingeniero electricista preferiblemente con experiencia en Sistemas Transmision y Distribucion<br />
<br />
Requirements:</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<ul>
<li>Management of utility distribution projects (overhead and underground) through their lifecycle</li>
<li>Build and lead a small team executing various distribution project types</li>
<li>Mentoring and developing junior engineers and designers</li>
<li>Completion of QA/QC tasks including reviewing, checking and approving work output of assigned personnel, as required</li>
<li>Supporting the Engineering Manager and Program Manager in project controls tasks</li>
<li>Providing leadership on new engineering programs as they arise</li>
<li>Responding to information requests during construction and completing project documentation including as-builts, calculations and return of data to the client</li>
<li>Coordinating with head office over resourcing needs. This includes increasing resources and distributing work as needed.</li>

<ul>
<li>Electrical Engineering Bachelors Degree (or equivalent)</li>
<li>5 + years of overhead and underground distribution engineering and design experience</li>
<li>Knowledge of electrical design including the selection and installation of conductors, smart grid equipment, overhead and underground equipment, distribution construction</li>
<li>Knowledge of structural, civil, and geotechnical aspects of distribution engineering is an asset</li>
<li>Strong verbal and written communication skills (Spanish and English)</li>
<li>Able to collaborate and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders</li>
<li>Experience working in a utility or consulting environment and managing multiple projects with competing priorities</li>
</ul>
