<b> We are having increased activity and we are looking to strengthen our team within the Monitoring & Process department. Our team provide remote condition monitoring services for </b><b>multiphase meters, subsea pumps and compressors, swivel & marine systems and subsea production systems. The team also provide virtual flow metering services.</b> <br><br> <b> OneSubsea is recruiting Process Engineers based in Bergen, local connection will be preferred. Both recent graduates and experienced professionals are encouraged to apply! </b> <br><br> <b> Job summary: </b> <br> The Monitoring & Process department is responsible for fulfilling obligations in terms of analysis, troubleshooting and real-time condition monitoring of delivered equipment. The Process Engineer provides multi-disciplinary technical support to both our clients and the Services organization, including Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Field engineers. <br><br> The Process Engineer will draw on Subject Matter Experts in the greater organization to solve challenges outside their skill set. There are expectations that the Process Engineer challenge the existing real-time condition monitoring solutions, and actively participate in initiatives aimed at developing new real-time models, techniques, and visualizations.<br><br>As needed, the Process Engineer is to support the department manager of Monitoring & Process with regards to sales and business development for new and existing remote monitoring service contracts. This can include participating as a technical resource in sales meetings with clients and estimate work required for activities. The Process Engineer can also be asked to assist with implementing updates to existing or new condition monitoring systems. <br><br> <b> Essential responsibilities and duties: </b> <ul><li> Follow-up of OneSubsea delivered systems, such as pumps, compressors, multiphase meters, swivels and trees, covered by specified remote monitoring service agreements </li><li> Analyse real-time production data from field related to our equipment and evaluate performance </li><li> Provide proactive support to Clients </li><li> Author and issue monthly status reports to Clients </li><li> Contribute to development of remote condition monitoring capabilities like system improvements, operational optimization, and development of new products/services </li></ul><ul><li> Provide technical process related support to Project Managers and Field Engineers by: <ul><li> Assisting in troubleshooting, studies, data analysis, etc. </li></ul></li></ul><ul><li><ul><li> Participate in pump/meter/swivel related modification/upgrade/service work </li><li> On a case-by-case basis, travel to provide on-site support </li><li> When needed, contribute to internal training of relevant personnel </li></ul></li></ul><br><br><b>Minimum Job Qualifications</b><br> <b>Minimum job qualifications:</b><ul><li>Bachelor, Master or PhD degree in process engineering, or similar level of relevant education</li><li>Good academic results </li><li>Relevant competency related to flow assurance and fluid dynamics</li><li>Good knowledge in basic software applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc..) </li><li>Excellent English skills, both written and oral</li><li>Excellent presentation skills</li></ul><br><b>We would like you that have some knowledge of this, but it is not a requirement:</b><ul><li>Knowledge of reservoir and PVT calculations</li><li>Experience with Python (or similar) for data processing </li><li>Experience with the OLGA dynamic multiphase flow simulator (or similar)</li><li>Competency related to rotating machinery </li><li>Oil &amp; gas experience </li><li>Communication skills in Norwegian is considered as an advantage</li></ul><br><b>Personal qualifications: </b><ul><li>You are creative and solution oriented and have an innovative mindset </li><li>You must be able to work efficiently both in teams and independent</li><li>You work in a structured and organized way </li><li>You have a proactive attitude </li></ul><br><b>We can offer:</b><ul><li>International working environment and career opportunities through all OneSubsea departments</li><li>Opportunity to learn and grow within the company</li><li>Good working environment</li><li>Competitive salary and benefits</li></ul><b> </b><br><b>Interested?</b><br>Please apply to this position as soon as possible, but no later than due date, by following the link.<br><br> By submitting your CV you indicate your consent for Schlumberger to process your personal details in relation to potential job vacancies.
