Job Overview As a Golang Engineer at iCIMS, you'll have an exciting opportunity to work in NLP/AI as you support API services and AI services software for the iCIMS Talent Cloud! You'll build scalable, high performance, back-end cloud API services mostly using Go to help our clients attract, engage, hire, and advance top talent. Leveraging your Rest API or Java knowledge, we'll support your expertise with Golang training! Responsibilities Develop, test, and maintain innovative, scalable back-end AI services primarily in Go. Collaborate closely in a small, focused, supportive and energetic team of Data Scientists, Software Engineers and Product Managers. Grow and learn with support from mentors and many training resources. Consistently ensure that business is always conducted with integrity and that behavior aligns with iCIMS’ policies, procedures, and core competencies. Qualifications Software engineering experience with knowledge of Rest API, Java, Scala, or Golang. An interest in learning and developing AI API with Golang. Firm understanding of software engineering practices and techniques. Preferred Ideally with Akka exposure. Enthusiasm or experience for functional programming (Clojure, Haskell, Erlang etc). Scala (Java as an alternative) Hands-on experience in either multi-model (ArangoDB), SQL, document, graph or embedded databases Interest/Experience with machine learning, deep learning and/or software and algorithms optimization EEO Statement iCIMS is a place where everyone belongs.
