Planning Engineer

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood is currently looking for a Planning Engineer to join our team in the UAE. <br><br>Responsibilities <br><br><ul><li> Provide project planning and progress reporting service to assigned offshore projects in accordance with the Client rules through all stages of the project life cycle. </li><li> Ensure planning activities are properly aligned with scope and cost information to apply integrated project control approach </li><li> Make sure that planning reporting is accurate and fully reflects status of the assigned projects </li><li> Liaise closely with other project delivery areas: Project Management, Engineering & Design, Procurement, Fabrication and Construction </li><li> Act as planning matter expert for other project stakeholders </li><li> Provide projects input into Integrated Asset Plans </li></ul><br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br><ul><li> A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent from an accredited university with minimum 8 years in execution of FEED / EPC contracts in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry </li><li> Must be experienced in the use of Project Planning and Costing Software / Applications </li><li> Must have experience in Primavera Project Plans </li><li> Must be familiar with planning and scheduling of activities, cost estimation, budgeting and cost control for all aspects of Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning of major oil / gas plants </li><li> Experience of working with multi-national and multi-cultural project teams is strongly preferred </li><li> Good written and verbal communication skills </li><li> HSE awareness and commitment </li></ul> <br><br><b> Company Overview </b><br><br>Wood is a global leader in engineering and consultancy across energy and the built environment, helping to unlock solutions to some of the world's most critical challenges.
