Document Controller

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood is currently looking for a Planning Engineer to join our team in the UAE. <br><br>Responsibilities <br><br><ul><li> Administer Document Control services to Projects </li><li> Maintain accurate electronic and hard copy libraries for project management systems </li><li> Register, quality check, issue and distribute technical documentation to internal and external parties. Create transmittals to facilitate distribution according to Project Distribution Matrices </li><li> Register, quality check, issue and distribute Vendor Third party documentation to internal and external parties. Create transmittals to facilitate distribution according to Project Distribution Matrices </li><li> Manage timely turnaround of documentation accompanied by an awareness of project schedule / milestones </li><li> Return of documentation to Vendor Third Party </li><li> Maintain hard copy and electronic management systems </li><li> Liaise / resolve queries with Engineers and Project Team </li><li> Facilitate handover of deliverables toProject Team </li><li> Archive project documentation </li></ul><br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br><ul><li> Minimum of 8 years' Document Control experience in an Oil and Gas Company </li><li> Possess a good understanding of project Document Control System requirements </li><li> A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail required </li><li> Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including Microsoft Word and Excel </li><li> Livelink and Assai experience is an added advantage </li><li> Experience of working with multi-national and multi-cultural project teams is strongly preferred </li><li> Good written and verbal communication skills </li><li> HSE awareness and commitment </li></ul> <br><br><b> Company Overview </b><br><br>Wood is a global leader in engineering and consultancy across energy and the built environment, helping to unlock solutions to some of the world's most critical challenges.
