<p>The Role:</p>
<p>This role will be a key contributor in delivering a modern, forward thinking approach to recruitment and selection across all areas of the Council in line with our Workforce Strategy and our Achieving Better Together (ABT) programme which aims to “re-focus the Council in the future to be more efficient and effective in delivering the right services in the right way and at the right time”.  </p>
<p>The role will focus on the continuous improvement of our policies, processes and systems to identify innovative ways to attract and recruit the best possible candidates and deliver a positive recruitment experience for applicants and hiring managers.</p>
<p>You will need to possess: </p>
<p>•    A proven track record in employee attraction, recruitment and selection, clearly demonstrating knowledge of a variety of recruitment tools, techniques and technologies.<br />
•    Experience of working within project management parameters, with the ability to effectively meet targets and deliver results.<br />
•    Excellent communication skills, and the ability to influence / challenge. <br />
•    A true business partnering approach, coupled with a focus on continuous improvement and proven ability to bring about positive change.</p>
<p>Work base location: </p>
<p>In line with government guidance, this role is currently based at home.  However, when guidelines change this role will work in a hybrid way, with an expectation that there will be a mix of days in the office and working from home or an alternative location. </p>
