Facility Supervisor

<p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p>

<p>This position has the following responsibilities:</p>

<ul>
<li>The Facility Supervisor keeps the facility running efficiently by overseeing both personnel, equipment and assets including sub-contract vendors</li>
<li>Daily duties of a facility supervisor entail managing from a big-picture view, as well as dealing with details -- all of which affect maintenance of the physical premises and the security of people who do business there</li>

<p><strong>Key Roles & Responsibilities</strong></p>

<ul>
<li>Implement regular inspection in the facility to ensure activities are conducted safely and appropriately.</li>
<li>Execute open, close, and secure facilities and check for safety and maintenance concerns.</li>
<li>Educate and guide participants on proper use of facility</li>
<li>Ensure to enforce and comply with all established policies and procedures.</li>
<li>Ensure product safety during storage and material handling activities.</li>
<li>Maintain facility records to ensure compliance with company standards and all federal, state and local regulatory agencies</li>
<li>Supervises, plan and schedule the work of craft works/vendors the work of various craft workers, such as HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) repair workers, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and painters.</li>
<li>Maintains records of materials used; orders and purchases new materials</li>
<li>Supervises emergency repair jobs; inspects field work performed; plans and estimates maintenance and repair work; maintains records of work order requests and completion</li>
<li>Preparing and administering the division budget; monitors budget accounts and expenditures.</li>
<li>Administers security and janitorial contracts; reviews work of contractors to ensure that work is completed in accordance with the timeliness and standards of quality set forth in the contract</li>
<li>Analyzes and investigates maintenance and personnel problems or issues, and prepares and compiles written reports to the Facilities Manager with solutions and/or recommendations</li>
<li>Any other work as assigned </li>

<p><strong>Job Specifications</strong></p>

<p><strong>Academic Qualifications</strong></p>

<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree/OND/HND in mechanical or civil engineering or management</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Experience</strong></p>

<ul>
<li>2- 5 years' experience in facility supervisor position or in building construction, maintenance, or repair work</li>
<li>Ability to communicate at all levels</li>
<li>Ability to multi-task and prioritize work</li>
<li>Organizational and planning skills</li>
<li>Knowledge of: the operations, services, and activities of a facilities maintenance program</li>
<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office package including Outlook</li>
<li>Proven facilities management experience</li>
