Principal Pipeline Engineer

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood (trading locally as JSC WOOD KSS) is currently recruiting for a Principal Pipeline Engineer with extensive experience in the oil and gas petrochemical industry. <br><br>Responsibilities: <br><ul><li> Responsible for the study, design, and construct pipe systems for transporting a variety of substances such as gas and oil </li><li> Meeting with clients to define pipeline requirements </li><li> Conducting site surveys and research to determine pipeline specifications and placement as well as pump sizes </li><li> Preparing and presenting technical materials such as cost estimates, pipeline layouts, and flow simulations </li><li> Calculating project requirements such as materials, budget, and time </li><li> Creating and developing digital designs such as pipeline maps, blueprints, and mechanical diagrams </li><li> Overseeing the construction and installation process of pipeline infrastructure and systems </li><li> Managing the project workflow </li><li> Performing quality control assessments and ensuring that the pipelines comply with all technical and safety regulations </li></ul> <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br>Higher (technical) education <br> Work experience in the respective position no less than 5 years <br> Proficient user of relevant software and calculation templates <br> Professional level of ability in the application of standards, processes and procedures and how they are used in work execution <br> Professional level of knowledge of applicable codes and standards <br> Technically competent in own discipline, pursues continuous professional development of skills and knowledge according to standards <br> Keeping up to date with the latest advancements in design software, technical standards, and construction technique <br> Advanced level of written/spoken English <br><br><b> Company Overview </b><br><br>Wood is a global leader in engineering and consultancy across energy and the built environment, helping to unlock solutions to some of the world's most critical challenges.
