Position Overview As a part of our dedicated team, you will be dispatching orders for products or deliveries in addition to working with teammates to ensure the branch is operating successfully. What you’ll do: Receive and dispatch orders for products or deliveries Prioritize calls according to urgency and importance Use radio, phone or computer to send crews, vehicles or other field units to appropriate locations Cultivate strong relationships with drivers and customers to reduce the stress that comes with last minute schedule changes Monitor any sudden route changes or road construction issues and work with drivers to establish new routes for timely deliveries Enter data in computer system and maintain logs and records of calls, activities and other information Address problems and requests by transmitting information or providing solutions Skills We Are Seeking Dispatch and/or routing experience strongly preferred Must be adept with technology and efficient at typing on a computer keyboard - Data entry experience a plus Ability to work in a team environment in high pressure situations Proficient in English (oral and written) Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities High school diploma/GED required Perks: Medical, Dental and Vision plans Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays Competitive Compensation 401k with company match Company paid life insurance, Short Term Disability and Long-Term Disability Insurance Product Discounts Tuition Reimbursement Opportunity for Advancement THE INFORMATION CONTAINED HEREIN IS NOT INTENDED TO BE AN EXHAUSTIVE LIST OF ALL RESPONSIBILITIES, DUTIES AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED OF INDIVIDUALS PERFORMING THE JOB.
