<p>Our NW London SEN school with a genuine drive towards inclusive education, is seeking to appoint a SEN Teacher for their year 7 class who are working at KS2 level. This is a WONDERFUL opportunity for passionate SEN educators who are looking to feel part of a community and a truly inclusive school environment. This is a vacant role with an immediate/ASAP start and the school is looking for a teacher who could become an embedded member of their team!</p>
<p>With a beautiful, new, purpose built building and outdoor learning space, there is also plenty of parking for drivers and is also easily accessed via public transport.</p>

<p><strong>MLD/SLD&nbsp;specialist school</strong></p>
<p>We are looking for a SEN Teacher for a specialist MLD&nbsp;therapeutic school based in North West&nbsp;London. The school caters for students who are unable to access mainstream education and has a therapeutic approach to teaching and learning with an onsite Therapy Team!&nbsp;The class sizes are very small and focus on the individual needs of students who have moderate to severe SEN including Down&
39;s Syndrome, SpLD, Autism, and ADHD.</p>
<p>We support Education providers that educate children and young people who for many reasons cannot thrive in&nbsp;mainstream&nbsp;educational settings. Understanding their additional needs is essential in these roles and we are seeking individuals who can make a positive impact through their passion for inclusive education.</p>
<p><strong>What We Are looking for - Therapeutic SEN Teacher</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Therapeutic teaching approach</li>
<li>Experienced SEN teacher with both&nbsp;secondary and primary teaching experience, ideally</li>
<li>Experience of teaching MLD or SLD is a must, even if it is in a mainstream setting with high % SEND</li>
<li>Positive role model to support communication, with a sensitive, nurturing, and consistent approach</li>
<li>Experienced and qualified teachers with QTS/QTLS ideally. Those who are experienced&nbsp;unqualified, passionate SEND teachers will also be considered</li>
<li>Ability to build strong and meaningful relationships with disengaged students</li>
<li>Passion for teaching SEN children&nbsp;is essential!</li>

<p><strong>Therapeutic SEN Teacher Requirements</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Although this particular role requires&nbsp;QTS/QTLS we want to hear from all SEN Teachers no matter what your qualification is!</li>
<li>The passion to teach and inspire young people during a crucial stage of their personal and academic development.</li>
<li>A nurturing, patient, empathetic and holistic approach</li>
</ul>
<p>Although experience teaching in SEND&nbsp;specialist settings is beneficial I would also love to hear from teachers&nbsp;who are interested in taking their first steps into SEN.</p>
