S&P Global Market Intelligence The Role: Sales Associate Grade (relevant for internal applicants only): 9-10 The Location: Sydney The Team: The Pacific Sales team is responsible for promoting and proactively selling a portfolio of innovative solutions across a diverse set of segments and client personas. This team works collaboratively across the broader business including account management, product specialists and product development teams. The team is results driven, autonomous, supportive and features strong communication and support. The Impact: Your contribution and dedication to your role is critical as you have a direct impact on business generation. You will be able to lead from the front and have a direct impact on the future growth of the business. In doing so, you will get to learn the client’s business and help identify their needs, while providing solutions utilising our products and tools. What’s in it for you: You are a key player within the sales team, and you will have the opportunity to work with the major key clients within all sectors across the Pacific. Responsibilities: Maintain total sales at or above quota Identify new opportunities within the designated territory Establish appointments with senior-level executives within these organisations Stay current with industry news and issues to understand the potential impact to your current prospects for fine new opportunities Coordinate and provide sales demonstrations Follow up to negotiate contract terms and pricing Maintain a disciplined approach to daily sales activity pipelines and systems-based workflow (i.e. Salesforce.com) Secure the executed contract and coordinating the transition of new clients to the Account Management group Develop industry-specific knowledge necessary to have credible diagnostic conversations What We’re Looking For: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, finance, accounting, economics, or related field Fluency in English Ambition, passion, drive and a hunger for sales Confidence in cold calling and dealing with clients over the phone and in person, client-first approach to sales Understanding of sales processes and dynamics Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to provide presentations to large audiences Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Salesforce and Outlook Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment About Company Statement: S&P Global Market Intelligence At S&P Global Market Intelligence, we know that not all information is important—some of it is vital.
