Electrical Engineer / Power Systems Engineer / Instrumentation & Controls E

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Massy Wood Ltd. is currently seeking expressions of interest for several <b>Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls Engineering</b> roles (listed below) for a potential project to be based in Trinidad. <br><br><b>Electrical Engineering:</b> <br><br><ul><li> Develop all Electrical Engineering Designs associated with oil and gas and/or petrochemical facilities. This will include, but not be limited to: <br> a. Grounding and Lightning Protection Plans <br> b. Lighting Plans <br> c. Area Classification <br> d. Load Flow / Electrical Transient & Analysis Program (ETAP) <br> e. CCTV design <br> f. Telecommunication design <br> g. Study / Proposal (Load analysis, relay coordination, short circuit analysis) </li><li> Identify power requirements to determine optimum supply sources required for facilities. This includes the use of public power and/or generation systems. </li><li> Prepare, supervise or review (as requested) of all required design engineering, construction and commissioning documents as relates to electrical safety and performance. </li></ul><br><br><b>Electrical Engineering Power Systems:</b> <br><br><ul><li> Develop all Electrical Engineering Power Systems Designs associated with oil and gas and/or petrochemical facilities. </li><li> Prepare, supervise or review (as requested) of all required design engineering, construction and commissioning documents as relates to electrical power system safety and performance. </li><li> Supervise the specification and selection of electrical power systems and materials in accordance with project requirements and applicable codes and standards. </li><li> Assure in design phase the safe operation of power systems equipment in line with the applicable codes and standards. </li></ul><br><br><b>Instrumentation & Controls Engineering:</b> <br><br><ul><li> Develop all Instrumentation and Control Systems Designs associated with oil and gas and/or petrochemical facilities. Instrument and Control Systems will include, but not be limited to: <br> a. Fire and Gas Systems <br> b. Telecommunication System <br> c. Process Control System (PCS) Design <br> d. Process Safety System (PSS) Design <br> e. Security System Design (lighting, fencing, CCTV) </li><li> Supervise the specification and selection of instrumentation and control systems and materials in accordance with project requirements and applicable codes and standards. </li><li> Assure in design phase the safe operation of instrumentation and control systems equipment in line with the applicable codes and standards. </li></ul><br><br><b>Automation Engineering:</b> <br><br><ul><li> Develop all Automation Systems Designs associated with oil and gas and/or petrochemical facilities. </li><li> Supervise the specification and selection of automation system materials in accordance with project requirements and applicable codes and standards. </li><li> Assure in design phase the safe operation of automation systems equipment in line with the applicable codes and standards. </li><li> Develop and implement schedules for safe and cost-effective testing and commissioning and operation of automation systems. </li></ul> <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br><ul><li> First Degree in Electrical / Instrumentation & Controls / Automation Engineering (BSc, BEng). </li><li> Membership of a professional body preferred. </li><li> Typically a minimum of 5-8 years' relevant experience. </li></ul> <br><br><b> Company Overview </b><br><br>Wood is a global leader in engineering and consultancy across energy and the built environment, helping to unlock solutions to some of the world's most critical challenges.
