Strategic Technical Purchaser

Here you support the Project Manager with all tasks related to strategic as well as operational procurement and logistics from start-up to completion of a project. You will also be able to play a central role in the bid phase, where you contribute with price benchmarking, mapping of subcontractor agreements, etc. As a person, you are outgoing, willing to learn new things, and passionate about making your special contribution to the energy sector and the common transition to green energy. You hold a bachelor or master’s degree within the field of electrical engineering or similar You have commercial experience from a strategic purchasing role You can work independently, show initiative and commitment to your work tasks and relationships. As a person, you are welcoming, flexible, and honest and have great impact and work systematically and structured You are energetic and motivated by a busy everyday life, where the tasks vary and must be solved in collaboration with our project managers, technical project managers, QHSE and bid team You must be good at collaborating across professional boundaries, department boundaries and national boundaries and thrive in a position where you must be outreach and talk to many people every day locally and globally You have strong IT skills, especially within SAP or similar financial systems and are good at communicating in Danish and English in writing and speaking Responsibilities Strategic procurement in projects. I.e., map the procurement strategy for a project, execute the strategy, evaluate, select, and monitor suppliers, negotiate new procurement and subcontracting agreements, etc. Manage the top commodities for the projects and leverage synergies by using and involving the procurement network within Siemens Energy worldwide Operational procurement in projects and in the business. I.e., execute purchases in SAP, handle customs and VAT matters as well as dangerous goods, where relevant, monitor delivery times, quality, etc. Contribute actively to the bid phase with providing potential suppliers, obtaining quotations, create price benchmarks etc. Carry out supplier management and ongoing evaluations, including and in collaboration with QHSE department to prepare audit plans Have close contact with both Danish and foreign suppliers and support project managers with all tasks related to procurement Make use and be part of an international and worldwide acting procurement network and contribute to local and global savings targets LET’S TALK ABOUT US Become part of an open and dynamic culture Where professional and personal development is high on the agenda.
