Aviation Ground School Instructor (Army Rotary Wing)

Job Summary Aviation Ground School Instructor: The contractor shall provide the Royal Saudi Land Forces Aviation Command (RSLFAC) with fully qualified Ground School Aviation Instructors IAW Directed Manning Baseline to assist in the aviation training mission of the RSLFAC. Will prepare and maintain training records and reports. Submit training reports as requested to the functional manager. Maintain coordination with OJT instructors to ensure training requirements are being met. Prepare and maintain training schedules. Must possess knowledge of use of training aids and devices and use of audio- visual training aids.Develop lesson plans, study guides, and other materials, as appropriate, and directed by the functional manager. Knowledge of the Systems Approach to Training (SAT) is desirable. Knowledge of OJT procedures and applications is also necessary. As directed, provide instruction on Fundamentals of Flight for helicopters, to include areas such as AERODYNAMICS, WEATHER, SAFETY, and other areas as may be needed. Other duties as qualified and as directed by the functional manager. Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Education or Aviation Related field preferred. High School Diploma or equivalent is Required. Graduate of the U.S. Army Methods of Instruction (MOI) course or Instructor Training Course (ITC) is desired as a minimum with related certification for Aerodynamics, Weather, and Safety. Must be a graduate of a Military training course Or an accredited Civilian aircraft/helicopter training course or school. Must have a Minimum of Seven (7) years experience in Army Aviation Training or related Civilian Aviation Training. (10 years experience is preferred). Must have Three (3) years of experience as an Aviation Classroom Instructor. Knowledge of OJT procedures and applications is preferred. US Citizen Required Valid US Passport Ability to pass Saudi Visa Deployment Medical Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of OJT procedures and applications is necessary. Must possess knowledge of use of training aids and devices and use of audio- visual training aids. Desire experience in the instruction and training of foreign military students. Knowledge of the Systems Approach to Training (SAT) is desirable.Ability to read, write, speak, and understand Arabic is desirable.
