The Opportunity: The Energy & Renewables Procurement Operations Manager position joins a team of experienced professionals in energy management, procurement and advisory services supporting many of the largest organizations in the world with global procurement of off-site and on-site energy and renewables. We are seeking top candidates that will focus on expanding our success and capabilities by coordinating the operational delivery of the Energy Procurement and Cleantech Services suite, including supporting Climate Change Strategies while also contributing to the professional growth, development, and productivity of Operations’ personnel.   This position will engage with our corporate customers to provide distributed generation solutions to corporate end users engaging both internally and externally with key decision stakeholders. These efforts may involve single location procurement events or the development of complex and ongoing go-to-market global processes. All these efforts in support of clients’ renewable energy and carbon reduction goals are aligned with industry best practices as defined by the relevant NGO guidance in conjunction with the client’s internal strategic criteria. In addition, this position supports our internal design and service line leadership of core Distributed Generation commercial advisory services as well as deeper service innovation and further advancement into new and emerging markets.   https://youtu.be/4EtpkB0cuXE  Day to Day Responsibility: The Energy & Renewables Procurement Operations Manager will coordinate the operational delivery of the Energy Procurement and Cleantech Services suite while also contributing to the professional growth, development, and productivity of Sourcing and Cleantech Operations personnel. In addition, the Manager shall be involved in assisting management stakeholders in resource management and planning, service innovation, plus maintenance and enhancement of service quality and efficiency. Energy procurement and Cleantech Services create value for emerging and established corporate buyers of renewable energy seeking financial and environmental impact reductions, and development / tracking of performance against renewable energy goals and strategies. As Operations Manager, the successful candidate will directly provide optimal service fulfillment, assist in the oversight of service delivery and customer satisfaction, as well as contribute to the forward growth and expansion strategies of ESS Procurement and Cleantech services as a whole. Working in tandem with various internal and external management stakeholders, the Operations Manager will play a key fulfillment and leadership role in service contract implementation and future enhancement and innovation. A second focus of this position will be to broaden, enhance, and accelerate the professional development and capacity of operations personnel via formal and informal instruction, coaching, mentoring, contribution to day to day performance assessments, and conducting formal performance reviews of operations team members. The successful candidate will also work closely with Schneider ESS colleagues and various stakeholders within regional hubs including the Americas, EMEA, and APAC to fully establish and maintain globally harmonized services as well as to advance the capabilities and expertise of global services talent. Support and lead innovative services from initial idea creation through implementation. Contribute to the leadership and ongoing support, education, and innovation efforts of Schneider cleantech and global ESS sales and marketing teams as needed or required Contribute to operations team talent deployment strategies and planning, assist in the assignment of projects and tasks related to general and specific service delivery needs. Provide direct oversight to service deliveries and formal deliverables content forvarious client projects and recurring SOW as assigned Service Delivery Strategically manage energy supply for assigned portfolio of clients Investigate, identify, and provide impact assessments of pertinent market information Effectively create/communicate regional market opinions and knowledge to internal/external clients Close collaboration and teamwork with client account managers and operations colleagues, as well as direct client interaction through presentation of strategies, deliverables, and analysis to support and compel client action.
