For our EMEA Critical Systems division we are looking for a Commercial Lead – Modular Data Centres Locations: Vienna, UK, Dublin Ireland preferred Eaton Critical systems division provides solutions and systems to segments where the management and control of electrical power must be ensured to provide maximum uptime. Job profile: This Business Development Leader position has the responsibility to bring Eaton modular solutions effectively to the data centre market. The role is to ensure the full alignment across Customer requirements, Project Management, Customer Order Engineering, Supply Chain Management and Planning. The position is responsible for providing the company with maximum profit performance on client orders and for ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction. Job Responsibilities: The sales and commercial leader for the modular data centre business shall attend to all aspects of the sales process. (lead identification, qualification, proposals, and closed orders). The person will be working independently and jointly with the central data centre account team and country sales organizations. The incumbent shall carry the overall revenue responsibility and target. In conducting the role, the person shall lead, manage, inspire, and motivate an assigned team of professionals, according to Eaton Leadership Model requirements. As sales leader, the person will also be responsible for the identification, recruitment, and management of Eaton Modular Data Centre Partners and the associated program. These partners are an essential part of the modular strategy and success. Drive accountability and efficiency within each department and a ‘one team culture’ to deliver the required output Manage customer orders to maximize the profitability by applying the company products in an efficient manner Manage customer change to ensure we enhance the performance of the contract while maintaining the customers’ expectations Work together with the pre order team to ensure we sell the most cost-efficient products and service. Standardization where possible, material supply chain Manage the factory load by planning and delivering work package on time and complete Drive the company SIOP process to maximize factory efficiency. Lead the monthly Supply Chain meeting during which, in close co-operation with all stakeholders the final supply plan (materials, capacity graphs and inventory) per product line for the next 12 to 18 months, including action plan to meet demand, is defined Define the continuous improvement in process and systems required to maximize effective work practices Work with the relevant stakeholders to deliver the correct values/ supply chain solution for future growth Secure that operational processes are in line with applicable regional, national, divisional and/or corporate guidelines, procedures, law, and regulations and have these actively audited and monitored by means of available systems (EHS ELS, QA and Industrialization) Secure that metrics (leading and lagging) and review processes are in place Stimulate change and improvement, assess proposals of subordinates as well as to propose change or improvement of processes to higher management Ensure timely and correct reporting to manager in accordance with applicable procedures and guidelines and ensure recording and traceability of data Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent education; a Masters’ degree in Business would be a plus Senior experience in Electrical Infrastructure design for critical systems, 2 to 5 years of which relate to data centre design Solid business development experience in the data centre industry. Sales experience shall be directly with data centre owner / operators and associated contractors Experience at both product and project level Demonstrated experience also required with respect to direct engagement with data centre and engineering consultancy firms. The business development experience shall relate to large value ($M) and deals complex in nature Technical Knowledge - Welcome Project Management Skills in terms of Engineering-To-Order orders, Engineering Skills Knowledge of Engineer to Order (ETO) and Assemble to Order (ATO) Business ERP Knowledge (SAP, Oracle) Six Sigma and ISO 9001 What you will get from us Eaton’s mission is to improve the quality of life and the environment through the use of power management technologies and services.
