43; PwC members across 157 member firms worldwide, as well as our global clients.</p><p></p><p>The UK Business Information Security Officer (BISO) team works closely with business stakeholders to understand their business model and roadmap for technology, acting as the primary interface between the business and the global security organisation. Management of relationships with the business is key to delivering on our global cybersecurity strategy. Whether it be implementing new solutions, driving operational effectiveness and efficiency or providing guidance back to global teams to further enhance our strategy, the UK BISO team provides the engagement and builds stakeholder relationships to enable the security organisation to deliver maximum value to the firm.</p><p></p><p>We have two new vacancies in the team for BISO Team Support Associates to begin or build on their cyber security career.</p><p></p><p><br /><u><b><b>What does the role look like?</b></b></u></p><p><b> </b></p><p><b>T</b> he roles will closely support the UK BISO Information Security Officers (BISOs) and UK CISO with maintaining and developing engagement with both the UK firm and the wider global security community.</p><p></p><p>The BISO Support Associate role is primarily focused towards:</p><p></p><ul><li><p>Supporting Senior LoS BISOs with proactive and regular engagement with, and relationship management of LoS stakeholders</p></li><li><p>Assisting business teams with navigating various security assessment processes and teams, providing guidance and support</p></li><li><p>Taking data and translating into a relatable, digestible, creative form for business teams</p></li><li><p>Assisting with identification and management of information security risk areas eg: vulnerabilities, control deficiencies etc</p></li><li><p>Being initial point of contact for business teams for security questions </p></li><li><p>Taking ownership for delivery of project tasks</p></li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><u><b> What do you ideally need for this role? </b></u></p><ul><li><p>An interest in building a career in cyber/information security</p></li><li><p>To enjoy helping people with problem solving, customer service outlook - working with business teams to achieve positive outcome</p></li><li><p>Inquisitive nature and intuition regarding what questions to ask, when, and their relative significance - a desire and enjoyment to learn</p></li><li><p>Communication skills to assist, inform, and build relationships with stakeholders in both the business and support teams, to enable effective information security activities and processes aligned to the firm’s security strategy</p></li><li><p>Intermediate to strong data manipulation and visualization skills highly desirable - eg: PowerBI, Alteryx, Tableau, Excel </p></li><li><p>Ability to manage workload - prioritise and recognise when to escalate to management</p></li><li><p>An interest of PwC’s business model, service offerings, and business operating environment as it pertains to the firm’s threat landscape</p></li><li><p>Google Workspace experience desirable</p></li><li><p>Some experience in a relevant information security or IT role is desirable but not essential </p></li></ul><p><b> </b></p><p><b><b>Apply now!</b></b></p><p><b>If you are seeking an exciting career in cyber security apply now by clicking the apply button.
