Our European Service Centre office based in Swords Dublin and we’re currently looking for a Data Scientist to join our Data Science Team. What you'll do Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements. Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions. Mine and analyse data from company databases to drive improvements of product development and business strategies. Use predictive modelling to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, other business outcomes. Coordinate with different functional teams/vendors to implement models and monitor outcomes. Work on key business initiatives by applying machine learning to large data sets. Analyse trends and patterns in structured and unstructured data in support of business problem solving. Identifies and communicates meaningful insights and provides input to project teams. Experience: Creating and using machine learning algorithms and statistics: regression, simulation, scenario analysis, modelling, clustering, decision trees etc. Using statistical computer languages to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets. Analysing data from 3rd party providers. Visualizing/presenting data for stakeholders. Big data tools EG: Python, R , TensorFlow. Relational SQL and NoSQL databases EG: Hadoop, MongoDB. Cloud services. Knowledge / Skills: To be adept at using large data sets to find opportunities for product developments and using models to test the effectiveness of different courses of action. Highly self-motivated and directed with an attention to detail and strong customer service focus. Strong analytic skills related to working with unstructured datasets. Using a variety of data mining/data analysis methods, using a variety of data tools, building and implementing models, using/creating algorithms and creating/running simulations. A passion for discovering solutions hidden in large data sets and working with stakeholders/vendors to improve business outcomes.
