<p>We are currently on the hunt for an Science Teacher / Science NQT (Newly Qualified Science Teacher) to join a high-achieving, supportive and welcoming Science Department; at an Outstanding Hackney Secondary School.</p>
<p>The Science Department is repeatedly achieving fantastic results, helping pupils achieve their very best. There are high-levels of A Level attainment, with lots of students choosing Science at KS5.</p>
<p>Pupil behaviour and CPD are real highlights of the School. The pupils are attentive and high-achieving, having excelled for the past 4 years consistently beating the previous year’s results. This is an exciting time to join such a phenomenal Science Department that will support and mentor you through your NQT year as an Outstanding Science Teacher/NQT.</p>
<p>Experienced Science Teachers have the option to be put forward for additional responsibilities across the Science Department. These TLRs can vary from KS3 Coordinator & 2iC.</p>

<p><strong>PERSON SPECIFICATION</strong></p>
<p>·       Must have UK QTS – Or be in the process of gaining (Teacher training)</p>
<p> </p>
<p>·       You must be confident, passionate and willing to go above and beyond for all pupils</p>

<p>·       Currently graded ‘Good’ overall or even better, ‘Outstanding’</p>
<p> </p>
<p>·       Must be able to work effectively within a large team of Science Teachers</p>
