Dispatcher - 2nd Shift

The Carlisle corrugated logistics “Dispatcher” general job responsibilities are outlined below. This document is intended to describe the key components of the position, however, is not intended to include all areas of responsibility and may be changed at any time with or without notice. Also, this position will report directly to the Carlisle corrugated Logistics Manager, Blair Thompson. The key responsibilities are: Safety – enforce all rules and lead by example. Housekeeping – work area must be kept clean and presentable. Manage all 3rd party inbound deliveries. Ensure all rates and loads are accurate in the TMW system. Maintain a positive, solution orientated work environment. Support, implement and manage all required recycling work rules and policies. Control cost. Responsible for all shifts, weekends and holidays. Professional work attire required. Work closely with other Logistics Managers to ensure maximum utilization of assets. Fill in for Logistics Manager during their absence. Attend all required Recycling and Logistics meetings. Always strive toward continual improvement. Have a plan to cover for vacations and unpredictable circumstances. Liaise and interface with the Carlisle corrugator team to ensure all service needs are met. Any and all other duties as assigned.
