The role: Taking the wheel at Hertz The Financial Accountant will manage the general accounting function in order to ensure accuracy and control and the smooth operation of the day-to-day functions of the General Accounting team in a fast-paced changing environment in support of country Accounting Manager and Business Partner requirements. Supporting preparation of monthly bad debt reserves & CE forecasting model for RAC & HCM /FNOL. Preparing weekly/monthly HCM/FNOL reports & dashboards including GL entries & agree figure with business unit. Ensuring all provisions and accruals are calculated accurately based on calculations or meeting agreements. Preparing & Ensuring Variance analysis on Bad Debt and FNOL are distributed timely to GA and the correct version of schedule signed by appropriate Managers. Preparing & ensuring all journals are prepared and uploaded correctly and on time. All balances related to Bad debt Accounts are confirmed at month end & correct entries have been processed, e.g GL vs Hyperion comparison. Ensuring all deadlines are met, including reports, journals and ad hoc requests. Adhering to all Hertz policies related to employees, professional conduct, working hours, integrity and provision mentioned in handbook and/or work contract. Seeking automation of downloads of all document direct reports used for revenue accounting. roviding continues support to all business unit for all queries related to bad debt & FNOL reporting. Assisting internals & externals Audit works. Preparing group reconciliation at corporate level for all Bad debt & FNOL accounts. Making sure all Reconciliation are uploaded in Blackline on time according to risk level deadlines. Approving Receivable account Reconciliation on monthly basis according to Hertz policy & instruction provided by internal & External Auditor.
