AWRDS Clerk Lead (Maintenance)

Job Summary Amentum has an opening for an AWRDS Clerk Lead in Kuwait. Serves as an Army War Reserve Deployment System (AWRDS) / Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-Army) Clerk Lead in providing direct oversight of asset visibility and support equipment issue of all wholesale stocks on the Army Pre-positioned Stock 5 (APS) Kuwait footprint by utilizing either system; responsible for coordinating activities between Receiving, Issuing and Storage of APS-5 Equipment. Duties include the use of AWRDS and/or GCSS-Army Systems, equipment validation, equipment accountability, document validation, preparation and compliance with supply procedures and applicable regulations and overseeing the day to day duties of personnel in their assigned team. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: • Highly proficient in AWRDS/GCSS-Army in order to properly implement a reporting process to track visibility and accountability on Army Prepositioned Stock (APS) • Oversees, performs and manages data entry using the AWRDS/GCSS-Army data base system and MS Excel • Provides oversight of Equipment Issue Operations and processes for proper accountability of wholesale assets • Oversees and train AWRDS/GCSS-Army Clerks to perform daily duties in accordance with PWS (Performance Work Statement) • Coordinates activities of personnel engaged in reports analysis, and scanning or inventorying • Analyzes and evaluates staff recommendations and approve implementation of changes, utilizing knowledge of reports analysis and standardization • Performs physical labeling and scanning of equipment utilizing PDA/Tablet, if necessary • Ensures tasks are executed in order to meet mission deadlines and required suspense • Ensure strict compliance to safety practices and support the Safety Policies and Procedures. Instills a safety first mentality within respective work areas and a culture that achieves low accident rates and minimal lost-time injuries • May be required to utilize a bar code scanner, which requires plenty of physical activity under the sun and heavy dust conditions of the outdoor environment and moving in/out of heavy military vehicles • Adhere to ISO Policies, Procedures, and Work Instructions in support of Quality Management System • Perform other duties and assignments as required Minimum Requirements Experience: • Three (3) or more years of military supply logistics experience or equivalent required • Proven experience with GCSS-Army required • Familiarity with military equipment required • US Army MOS 92A or 92Y preferred Specialized Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: • Knowledge of Army Regulations, AR 710-2, AR 735-5, and DA PAM 708-2 • Possess knowledge of Army Supply documentation such as DA Form 1348 and DA Form 2062 • Must possess working knowledge of the AWRDS/GCSS-Army systems, various LOGSA Logistics Integrated Warehouse (LIW) applications, and other approved automated property accountability systems • Must be able to utilize MS Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook. • Must have strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to work and communicate with others effectively • Possess the ability to multitask Certification, License & Clearance: • Driver’s license may be required • Tier 1 NACI required for all U.S. Citizens • Ability to obtain SAAR approval for NIPR access required. • GCSS Army certification highly preferred Work Environment, Physical Demands & Mental Demands: • Ability to perform job duties efficiently and effectively during a 72 hour work week • Must be able to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures • Must be able to endure long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs Preferred Qualifications N/A
