Electronic Technician

Partner with the best<br><br>As Electronic Technician, you will be responsible for:<br><br><ul><li>Assisting engineers with technical tasks</li><li>Reading electrical schematics and drawings, blue prints, and/or assembly prints.</li><li>Working safely and with quality in a timely and cost efficient manner</li><li>Executing functional tests and troubleshoot to component level using DMM, Function Generators, scopes (various), and other tools</li><li>Acting independently on projects and special test department tasks using technical abilities</li><li>Developing skills to become a technology resource for the engineering team and other areas, as directed</li><li>Working individually and on teams to improve various areas of the department</li><li>Learning and use Six Sigma methodologies to enhance the quality and efficiency of engineering</li></ul><br><br>Fuel your passion<br><br>To be successful in this role you will:<br><br><ul><li>Have High school diploma /GED with 3+ yrs electronics experience supporting essential responsibilities<br>OR<br></li><li>Have High school diploma /GED with military training in electronics and 6 months electronics experience supporting essential responsibilities<br>OR<br></li><li>Have Associate's Degree (or higher) in Electronics or Technology and 6 months electronics experience supporting essential responsibilities</li></ul><br><br>Desired Characteristics:<br><br><ul><li>Have willingness to learn and think creatively</li><li>Have ability to work well in a team environment and independently</li><li>Have externally focused and able to consider customer needs and make a commitment to quality</li><li>Be Safety-minded</li><li>Be Self-motivated and directed</li><li>Have SAP Experience</li><li>Have MRP Experience</li><li>Have SMT solder / De-solder experience</li><li>Have effective interpersonal and communication skills</li><li>Have understanding of PC skills such as Excel, Word and Power Point</li></ul><br><br>Working with us<br><br>Our people are at the heart of what we do at Baker Hughes.
