Lease Operator III

Candidate responsible for well operations, gas lifted wells, ESP's, three phase separation, gas compression and minor maintenance of valve, pumps and rotating equipment. <br><br>Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood is required <br><ul><li> Training to support that all shut downs and safety devices are in place and functional </li><li> Supporting the preparation, installation, and startup of new company-owned or rental compressors </li><li> Supporting and overseeing all new compressor site construction, layout, and piping needs </li><li> Training to support all sites meet or exceed environmental laws, rules, and regulations </li><li> Monitoring and optimize existing units </li><li> Recognizing opportunities for increased efficiency and recommending units for replacement or alternate lift and work with operations engineer to manage changes </li><li> With operations engineer, setting up tracking tools to analyze and document all compressor related performance metrics such as runtime, mechanical availability, fuel consumption, throughput, and environmental compliance </li><li> Assisting pumpers and production foremen with compressor related issues </li><li> Performing similar duties for installation and operation of gas engine-driven generators and vapor recovery units (VRUs); monitor VRU operation and controls to prevent oxygen entry into the system </li><li> Coordinating with operations engineer to specify operating conditions and evaluate vendor proposals for new installations; ensuring all approvals are obtained for new rental or purchase agreements </li><li> Assuring safe and environmentally compliant operations of all company owned or rental compressors, gas driven generators, and VRUs </li></ul> <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br><ul><li> High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited state-certified program required </li><li> 5+ years of industry related experience is required </li><li> 3+ years of mechanical experience is required </li><li> Previous work experience in and knowledge of compressor operation, maintenance, and repairs preferred </li></ul> <br><br><b> Company Overview </b><br><br>Wood is a global leader in engineering and consultancy across energy and the built environment, helping to unlock solutions to some of the world's most critical challenges.
