Our diverse and collaborative teams are constantly pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.   Ready to join us?  About this opportunity The Operational Excellence Specialist is primarily responsible for leading the operation excellence deployment at the global business operations to develop a continuous improvement culture and to provide strategic planning, data analysis and coaching in OPEX processes to grow the process improvement capabilities of the business. This role requires technical OPEX skills based on Lean methodologies as Kaizen facilitation, Value Stream Mapping, 5S Deployment, 6-Sigma Certification, etc. The individual will need to drive change management, effectively communicate throughout the organization, and collaborate to achieve target performance and share best practices. In this role, you will… Work in collaboration with the business unit managers to identify areas for improvement, set strategies, KPIs & priorities of improvement initiatives Coordinate and execute Kaizens to achieve business needs and objectives while involving process experts by using problem solving techniques of Lean 6 sigma methodology. Create standards to be implemented throughout the value streams Conduct evaluations (audits) of OPEX standards proficiency against the CI Roadmap Identify and eliminate process waste by continually driving a cultural shift in the organization with sustainable results Develop & deliver training to enhance OPEX skills to defined populations / positions Coach ambassadors and management to ensure maximum positive impact, full partnership and collaboration Establish key performance indicator (KPI) and follow-up on the portfolio of projects, Kaizen and improvement initiatives to ensure results are measured and achieved, including monthly business reporting Deploy internal Lean tools & Problem-Solving capabilities at all levels Deliver proactive and effective communication related to improvement initiatives In this role, you’ll need … Bachelor’s Degree in Business or industrial engineering required 5 years relevant working experience with Continuous Improvement (Lean and/or Six Sigma) in the operation environment within large/complex organizations Analytical/critical thinking, information analysis, problem resolution skills Ability to engage others - fostering teamwork and building strong relationships, ability to understand others, lead teams and develop people Ability to influence and build relationships, motivating and inspiring others through highly effective communication and exemplary presentation skills Project Management trained & experienced Ability to challenge, influence, inspire and enthuse others at multiple levels of the organization, from Team members to Executive Managers. foster open upward and downward communication within the organization built on mutual respect. Training & coaching experience Ability to work in a challenging, continuously evolving environment while delivering business results under pressure.
