<br><b>Description</b><p>Transports patients, supplies, equipment, medication, medical charts, specimens, blood products, flowers, name plates, paper (i.e., OR schedules, requisitions, etc.) in a timely manner</p><br><b>Responsibilities</b><p><i><strong>Roles and Responsibilities:</strong></i></p><ul><li>Transport patients safely to/from all patient units & designated treatment areas in a timely manner and in accordance with prescribed procedures</li><li>Perform or assist with the movement of patients; assist with transport/transfer of patients from chair/bed, bed/stretcher, etc.</li><li>Performance of specific environmental and support functions</li><li>Maintenance of required supplies and equipment; ensure equipment used for transport is safe, clean, and easily accessible</li><li>Practice effective communication and collaboration with other health care members</li></ul><br><b>Qualifications</b><p><i><strong>Requirements:</strong></i></p><ul><li>High School Diploma or Equivalency required</li><li>Current or previous experience as a transporter preferred</li><li>Ability to lift and move heavy objects and/or patients with or without reasonable accommodation</li><li>Ability to be flexible and self-directed</li><li>Effective interpersonal skills</li></ul><p> </p><p>Collective bargaining unit: SEIU Local 144-MSB-NonRN</p><p> </p><br><b>Employer Description</b><p class=
