<strong>Department</strong><br><br>Radiation Oncology_PAV <br><strong>Job Summary</strong><br><br><p> The Medical Dosimetrist is responsible for designing a treatment plan and accurately calculating the delivery of radiation treatment based on the Radiation Oncologist’s prescribed course of radiation therapy and according to established practices and standards.<br /></p> <br><strong>Required Qualifications</strong><br><br><p> - Require successful completion of an accredited two- (2-) year Medical Dosimetry program with training in the usage of Varian Medical Systems software and equipment, specifically Eclipse, or a minimum of three (3) years of radiation oncology clinical experience as a dosimetrist with experience utilizing Varian Medical Systems software and equipment, specifically Eclipse.<br />- Require board eligible for Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD) certification.<br /></p> <br><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong><br><br><p> - Prefer experience in stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS and SBRT) high dose rate brachytherapy.<br />- Prefer proficiency in image registration with various image sets to include CT, MRI and PET.<br /></p> <br><strong>Mandatory Education</strong><br><br><p> </p> <br><strong>Preferred Education</strong><br><br><p> </p> <br><strong>Required License and Certs</strong><br><br><p> </p> <br><strong>Preferred License and Certs</strong><br><br><p> </p>
