<strong>Overview</strong><br><br><p>PNNL’s Human Resources organization is comprised of over 100 plus committed professionals working to advance the interests of the lab and support scientific discovery and excellence. HR is engaged in a transformational journey to help PNNL meet its talent acquisition and retention goals through innovative benefits, compensation, learning, and workforce programs.</p> <br><strong>Responsibilities</strong><br><br><ul><li>Processes HR related transactions with accuracy by performing tasks such as collecting required information/documentation as needed from employees, managers, and/or others in HR; performing data entry; sending documents and correspondence; and other related tasks.</li><li>Responds to phone, chat and email inquiries from staff and managers at all levels. Ensures that pertinent information is gathered prior to providing a response.</li><li>Resolves questions and issues by accessing information in multiple systems including PeopleSoft and other internal systems.</li><li>Escalates customer inquiries to Tier 2 Subject Matter Experts (SME) and/or Centers of Expertise when specific, in-depth functional knowledge is required.
