<br><b>Description</b><p><strong>Dietary Cashier-Food Service-Mount Sinai Hospital-Part Time, Days, Every Weekend</strong></p><p> </p><p>Collects cash payments for meals served in cafeteria; totals and deposits receipts; performs related duties as required.</p><br><b>Responsibilities</b><p>Picks up cashier box containing the employee's bank in presence of Accounting Clerk, and both sign slip verifying the amount.</p>
<p>Obtains numbered receipt tickets and signs in same to verify the starting number.</p>
<p>Counts, records, and deposits cash receipts after heavy traffic periods. Prepares daily income forms.</p>
<p>Prepares the daily menu board.</p>
<p>Reports incidents and customer comments to Supervisor.</p>
