<br><b>Description</b><p><strong>Sleep Technologist-9th Floor-New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai-Full Time-Wed, Thurs, Fri-6pm to 7am</strong></p>

<p>The Sleep Technologist performs all types of sleep disorder testing, including set-up and performance of nocturnal polysomnograms (NPSGs) for both research and clinical purposes on all age groups, and may function as a nighttime lead tech, training technicians and ensuring proper functioning of the lab at night.<span> </span>In addition, this individual documents routine observations including sleep stages and clinical events, changes in procedures, and significant events in order to facilitate scoring and interpretation of polysomnographic results.<span> </span>Demonstrates working knowledge of polysomnography, Multiple Sleep Latency Tests (MSLT), Maintenance of Wakefulness Testing (MWT), oximetry and administration of supplemental O2, Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP and/or BPAP) studies, and the basics of Sleep Medicine, and recognizes cardiac arrhythmia.</p><br><b>Responsibilities</b><p>1.
