Research Assistant II - Orthopedics

<br><b>Description</b><p>Under direct supervision, performs routine and standard experiments and procedures as assigned; provides support services for research projects.</p><br><b>Responsibilities</b><ul><li>Under the direction of the Principal Investigator (PI), assists with simple experiments using standard techniques in area of specialty assigned; assists in maintenance of data/results of experiments.</li><li>May prepare specimens and/or mix chemicals and other solutions and set up lab experiments.</li><li>Maintains inventory of all research supplies; prepares purchase orders for reagents and supplies.</li><li>Performs routine maintenance of equipment.</li><li>Washes and sterilizes glassware</li><li>Performs other related duties.</li></ul><br><b>Qualifications</b><p>Associates Degree in sciences (or related field) or HS/GED</p><p>2+ years of related experience</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Non-Bargaining Unit, 845 - Orthopaedics - ISM, Icahn School of Medicine</p><br><b>Employer Description</b><p class=
