Job Description: AutoZone is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will: Safely perform preventive maintenance on AutoZone fleet equipment, including air conditioning, brakes, tires, and minor engine repairs. Conduct van trailer maintenance and repairs, focusing on brakes, tires, and lift gates. Manage inventory control for the Parts Room. Complete all required AutoZone and DOT documentation. Key Responsibilities: Safely complete preventive maintenance on fleet equipment and trailers. Perform air conditioning, brake, tire, and minor engine repairs. Maintain and repair trailer brakes, tires, and lift gates. Manage inventory control in the Parts Room. Ensure completion of all AutoZone and DOT documentation. Requirements: Education: High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.); specialized or vocational courses preferred. Experience: 3-5 years of experience with diesel engines (Detroit and Cummins).
