Mechanical Inspector

<div><strong>Responsibilities: </strong></div>

<ul>
<li>Responsible for the Quality Control of the manufacturing works of the primary steel items;</li>
<li>Ensure Employers Requirements are implemented by the Contractor;</li>
<li>Liaise with the different Contractors at their manufacturing facilities;</li>
<li>Ensure competent surveillance of manufacturing activities across all sites;</li>
<li>Capture all work progress, inspections, Non-Conformities in Quality Inspection app;</li>
<li>Attend site quality meetings ensuring the appropriate discipline is represented as required;</li>
<li>Undertake daily monitoring of the quality of workmanship;</li>
<li>Lead day-to-day QC activities - notifications, inspection points and closure of open points etc.;</li>
<li>Review inspection reports and ensure they have been uploaded to the Project EDMS;</li>
<li>Escalate quality issues to the Quality Engineer;</li>
<li>Attend monthly and weekly quality meetings as required;</li>
<li>Competently execute roles and responsibilities in a professional manner in accordance with Code of Conduct;</li>
<li>Work closely with the Project Team to manage Quality in accordance with the Project Contractual requirements including but not limited to, specifications, standards and norms;</li>
<li>Report issues to the Quality Engineer which may require consideration for issuance of a Non Conformance Report (NCR);</li>
<li>Ensure NCR rectification is tracked and auditable;</li>
