Offer Manager - Software

Job Brief: We're looking for global offer manager for Edge Control (PLC) Software in IA China Hub Organization. He/She report to the Edge Control Offer Marketing Manager, and responsible for: Contributing for the growth of Edge Control Offers by developing competitive software, Developing and managing the global strategy for the Edge Control software product line, Conducting marketing research, Defining the product requirements, Driving product launches and commercial success. Main Responsibility Of This Role: Product Strategy and Planning: Lead the full-lifecycle strategic planning of Edge Control (PLC) software products. Develop detailed product roadmaps based on market trends, customer pains/demands, the competitors, and technological innovations, clarify product functional features and version iteration plans at each stage, and ensure the product's leading position in the market. Requirements Management: Conduct in-depth market research, communicate closely with R&D, sales, and customers, accurately collect and sort out software functional requirements, transform them into clear and executable product requirement documents, and promote efficient development by the R&D team. Project Management: Collaborate with multiple departments such as project manager, R&D, testing, operation and maintenance, formulate project plans, control project progress, promptly solve problems and risks during the development process, and ensure on-time and high-quality delivery of products. Market Promotion and Operation: Formulate product market promotion strategies, participate in the compilation of product publication materials, plan and implement online and offline promotion activities, collect market feedback, and drive continuous product optimization. 资格 Educational Background: Bachelor's degree or above in computer science, software engineering, automation, or related majors. Work Experience: More than 5 years of software product management experience, with at least 3 years of experience in the field of PLC software or industrial automation software. Professional Skills: Familiar with PLC programming environments such as CODESYS, Ecostruxure Machine Expert and Siemens TIA Portal, proficient in Motion Control application is a strong plus; possess solid software requirement analysis and project management capabilities; understand industrial communication protocols and automation system architectures.
