Position Purpose This AutoZoner is responsible for manage more than 24 In-land Carriers, with a annual budget of $ 680,000,000 Mxp, improve and develop the best logistics options for the Supply Chain. Primary Accountabilities Responsible for managing and controlling a transportation expense budget in distribution to stores service, identifying variances against the budget, and implementing action plans to correct spending deviations Lead the supervision and execution of TMS (Transportation Management System) tools across Distribution Center operations, ensuring efficient route planning, accurate payment processing, and financial provisioning in close collaboration with the Finance team to drive cost control and operational excellence. Lead improvement initiatives to optimize the outbound freight system, focusing on reducing transit times and lowering freight costs through strategies such as consolidation points and dedicated services, ultimately enhancing overall supply chain lead time Responsible for working closely with the DC Transportation Managers to ensure an On-Time Store Delivery rate above 95% Develop and onboard new carriers to ensure supply continuity and support the company’s store expansion across Mexico, while negotiating competitive contracts and service agreements to align with operational and cost-efficiency goals Ensure visibility and reliability of store deliveries by leveraging tools such as TMS, SAP, Power BI, and Excel for real-time tracking and data control, supporting accurate reporting and audit readiness across the Supply Chain Education & Experience Level of Formal Education: A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent. Area of Study: International Business Bachelor Years of Experience: Five to seven years. Type of Experience: Experience working with inland Carriers, DEDICADA models, Private fleet, routing, milk routing , and Logistics Projects Special Certifications or Technical Skills: Incountry Logistics Management, experience with tools as TMS, YMS, SAP , etc. Other/Preferred: Excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to work with and contribute to a team
