IOF ENGINEER (SYSTEMS)

<b>Department</b><br><br> NON-OPERATED OIL DEVT & TECH SUPPORT <br><br> <b>Primary Purpose of the Job</b><br><br><p>This role serves as a subject matter expert in the Intelligent Oil Field systems integration and delivery team and requires a mix of Upstream oil and gas knowledge, combined with hands-on IT infrastructure and applications expertise. This role regularly interfaces with business stakeholders in various directorates to identify and deliver on Upstream digitalization opportunities, as well as interfacing with the QatarEnergy ICT team to insure proper integration, compliance, commissioning, and operational excellence.</p><br><br><b>Required Experience and Skills</b><br><br><p>Minimum of 5 years' experience working in Upstream oil and gas industry; demonstrated knowledge of key business processes and terminology, including wells, equipment, facilities, measurement, etc.</p><p>Proven experience with 2 or more of the following:</p><ul><li>Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, PowerAutomate, PowerBI)</li><li>Aveva (OSI) PI systems, including PI Server, PI DataLink, PI Vision, and PI Asset Framework</li><li>Python</li><li>Microsoft Azure technology stack</li></ul><p> </p><p>Minimum 5 years of progressive project management, team leadership, or continuous improvement experience in the oil & gas industry. Experience and/or certification in Agile delivery methodology is preferred, but not required.</p><p>Minimum 3 years' experience with integrating, managing, and standardizing real-time streaming data, integration of field & operations technology systems, integration of data from plant information, SCADA, or distributed control systems. </p><p> </p><br><br><b>Educational Qualifications</b><br><br><p>Minimum of accredited Bachelors (BSc/BS) degree in Engineering, Information Systems, or Computer Science.</p>
