Responsibilities Intake Registered Nurse Position Summary: As an active member of the Psychiatric Assessment Team, the Intake Clinician performs psychiatric assessments for incoming new patients. This position Coordinates all activities of the Admission process from the point of referral, handling initial patient assessment, completion of all paperwork, and transfer to assigned Nursing Unit. A diploma graduate and/or an associate degree in nursing required. Current status as a Registered Nurse or Practical Nurse in the State of Arkansas. A minimus of three (3) years direct clinical experience in a psychiatric or mental health setting, with direct experience in patient assessment, family motivation, treatment planning and communication with external review organizations is preferred.
